Monty
“I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe. I lucked into he details at my barbers and couldn't be happier.
We have an 18 month old chocolate labrador which we had stopped taking out due to his engagement with everything around him, dogs, people etc. He is a large and powerful dog and to be honest made walks dangerous.
We aren't new to owning labradors and tried training from the the Dogs Trust from a young age (please don't waste your time or money), they mean well but are generic in the approach. Joe took the time to explain the thought process in Monthy and in dog ownership (he has a very cool and calm persona) and made us understand how Monty was feeling and why he reacted in the way he did.
Joe also advised about the nutrional side of Monty's emotions, which has made a significantly positive impact on where we are now.
We now take Monty for numerous walks and understand how to make Monty more interested in Mum and Dad (Joe's words not mine) when confronted by another dog and thanks to Joe this is now a pleasure rather than a fight.
I am more than happy for Joe to pass on my contact details if you would prefer a personal reference as although we only engaged with Joe for a short period of time, the results were extremely pleasing.
Just a word of warning, he does refer to himself as the tall, dark and handsome dog trainer.”
